In consideration of the accessibility of the event and the health of our attendees, INIT HELLO has the following COVID policy:
- The proper wearing of an N95 mask or equivalent without an exhalation valve is required during the event, except when eating or giving a formal presentation.
- All attendees must present valid proof of current COVID-19 vaccination, or a medical exemption from vaccination. Valid forms of proof include:
- A record of a current vaccination on a CDC COVID-19 vaccination card or a non-US country’s equivalent.
- A record of a current vaccination from a US state Immunization Information System or a non-US equivalent.
- A screenshot of a current vaccination record from a pharmacy or medical provider’s website or app.
- A printed receipt or record of vaccination from a pharmacy or medical provider.
- A current vaccination record in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
- A letter from a medical provider either stating that the attendee has received a current COVID-19 vaccination, or has a medical reason for being unable to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Even with a medical exemption, the remainder of this policy (masking, rapid testing, etc.) continues to be in force.
- All attendees must take a COVID-19 rapid test upon arrival, with a negative result as the entry requirement.
- Where multiple attendees have traveled to the venue together, test results are considered collectively, both at the door and during the event. A positive test from any member of such a traveling group is treated as a positive result from all in the traveling group.
- If an attendee starts to develop symptoms consistent with COVID-19, they (along with any in their traveling group) must immediately take a rapid test and notify a member of the organizing committee of the result.
- Any attendee who tests positive during the event (or is part of a traveling group with an attendee who tests positive) must depart the venue at that point. Before considering an attendee to have tested positive, a second rapid test will be done, to minimize the false positive risk.
Please see our refund policy in case of COVID. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please contact us.
